It has been six years now and counting but the memories seem like they were only yesterday. I still remember your excitement when we went back to Guyana to surprise you in 2005. You were so happy and that's how I will always remember you. I can still see the smile on your face and hear the happiness in your voice. You ran over to all the neighbors and introduce us to all of them. It was the littlest things that made you happy, nothing too extravagant, something I strive for in this lifetime. Hopefully with your guidance I will be a bit more humble. By having you in my life, I've learned to be accepting, don't judge anyone, open my heart and offer whatever I can, speak highly of others, always try new things and never let anyone tell me what I can and can't do because any and everything is possible. Even with all the disadvantages you faced, you put in an effort in everything that you did. You could have given up, stay home and collect disability but you never did. Instead you went out and did jobs that people who are healthy did not and could not do (driving without the keys/playing cricket, fishing... :)) Miss you a lot but I know that you're covering and protecting us. Love, hugs and kisses, daddy. Until we meet again.
